Personal context

Summary

Carrie Coon is an American actor and producer known for The Leftovers, Fargo, The Gilded Age, The White Lotus, and films including Gone Girl and The Nest. Her roles often center on complicated women facing grief, ambition, family conflict, and social pressure. She has repeatedly criticized the shortage of complex female-led stories and said she is ready to put women in charge; she has also publicly opposed Trump, defended transgender people’s civil rights, and urged Ohio creatives to vote in support of the arts. No public record of conservative or anti-woke advocacy is evident.
