Chris Pine

Personal context

Summary

Chris Pine is an American actor and producer known for Star Trek, Wonder Woman, Hell or High Water, and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. His roles span franchise action, contemporary crime drama, and fantasy, without a consistent identity-driven theme across his body of work. He has described himself as a left-leaning liberal, campaigned for Barack Obama in Nevada in 2008, and joined Trek Against Trump’s 2016 endorsement of Hillary Clinton. In discussing Wonder Woman, he said its theme was parity and equality for women; no sustained public record of DEI roles, race-focused advocacy, or LGBTQ advocacy is on record.
