Matilda Lutz

Personal context

Summary

Matilda Lutz is an Italian actor known for genre films including Rings, Revenge, and A Classic Horror Story, as well as the series Medici and Briganti. Her screen work often includes women in physically demanding roles, and she has described Revenge as a feminist film that changed how she understood victim-blaming and sexual abuse. She has said that sexual violence was treated as normal in her upbringing and stressed that clothing does not make a woman responsible for abuse; she has also described Red Sonja as moving beyond the character’s earlier sexualization. No public record of partisan campaigning, queer advocacy, DEI roles, or activist affiliations is on record.
