Personal context

Summary

Patrick Seitz is an American voice actor, script adapter, and voice director known for anime and video game roles including DIO in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Franky in One Piece, and Garrosh Hellscream in World of Warcraft. He is also known for playing villains and other forceful character roles, and for directing and adapting English-language anime. In a 2019 public Q&A, he said voiceover needed to diversify its talent pool and that casting a white actor as a black character did not help that goal. No other public statements on identity politics, DEI, or activism are on record.
