2021 · Based on 1 season, 5 episodes through September 1, 2021 ·
Dug Days follows Dug, the talking dog from Up, as he lives with Carl in a small suburban home after their trip to Paradise Falls. Dug sees a normal backyard as a huge new world filled with smells, animals, puppies, and loud fireworks. His trouble comes from curiosity, fear, and a strong need to chase anything that grabs his attention. Carl tries to protect Dug while still letting him learn, so the tone stays warm, silly, and gentle.
The five short episodes build small lessons around friendship, care, patience, and learning from mistakes. Dug protects a bird feeder, struggles to babysit puppies, follows a strange smell, and faces his fear of fireworks. In the final short, Russell uses old adventure technology to help Dug speak with nearby animals, and Dug worries about being a wild animal or a pampered pet. Carl and Dug solve their problems through loyalty, kindness, and humor, while the stories stay focused on ordinary family-friendly adventures.
