2024–2025 · Based on 3 seasons through November 25, 2025 ·
Eva Nine leaves an underground home after an attack and reaches the strange surface of Orbona. She travels with Otto, a gentle giant creature, and Rovender, an angry alien with a painful past. Eva searches for other humans while learning that Orbona is a changed Earth. The show mixes family adventure, danger, humor, and large battles. The story often favors cooperation between humans, aliens, robots, and nature over human control. Eva is a brave young female leader, but the show does not build its story around modern identity politics. Environmental damage and human arrogance are repeated themes, especially as the human colony seeks power over alien life. The final season centers on preventing war and finding peace between groups.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for WondLa.
Woke representation / casting
The show gives important roles to a young female hero, several alien groups, and a mixed human community. The casting is not publicly framed as a diversity campaign. The visible mix supports a broad family adventure more than a representation-first message.
12%
Woke political dialogue
The characters speak about human harm to nature, cooperation, and the danger of treating other groups as lesser. The show does not use repeated modern identity, DEI, or activist speeches.
4%
Identity-driven story themes
Eva repeatedly proves herself as a capable young female leader. The story also favors cooperation between different species and rejects human control over nature. These ideas matter across the series, but they remain part of a science-fiction family story rather than its main political message.
22%
Western institutional / cultural critique
New Attica is shown as a controlling human society that treats aliens as enemies and wants to rule Orbona. The story criticizes human arrogance and environmental damage. It does not broadly attack families, Christianity, traditional gender roles, or Western society.
18%
