Dragon Ball Super: Broly follows Goku and Vegeta after the Tournament of Power, when Earth is calm but Goku still trains every day. They meet Broly, a powerful Saiyan who was sent away as a baby and raised on the harsh planet Vampa by his angry father, Paragus. Frieza brings Broly to Earth and pushes him into a fight with Goku and Vegeta while he seeks the Dragon Balls. The film is a fast, loud action story with comedy, space adventure, family pain, and a huge final battle.
The most serious idea is that Broly’s violent behavior grows from control, fear, and years of isolation. Paragus uses a shock collar and treats his son as a weapon, while Cheelai breaks the device and later uses the Dragon Balls to save him. Goku sees that Broly is not simply evil, and he offers him friendship and a chance to train instead of demanding revenge. The story values family, self-control, mercy, and friendship, but its main pleasure remains the long, bright battles and the constant rise of new power.
