Robin leads the Teen Titans, but he feels small beside Batman, Superman, and the other heroes who already have movies. He takes Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy to Hollywood because he believes a movie will prove that he is a real hero. The team tries to find a dangerous enemy while Slade plans to control the Justice League and rule the world. The story moves between Jump City, Hollywood, and wild trips through time, and its tone is loud, silly, musical, and full of superhero jokes.
Robin first treats fame as more important than his friends, so he breaks away when a studio offers him a solo movie. The other Titans keep trying to help him, and their friendship becomes the key to stopping Slade and saving the team. Starfire and Raven fight beside Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy, and the group wins through teamwork rather than one hero’s special status. The main lesson is that loyalty and being yourself matter more than fame, while the film keeps mocking the rules and habits of superhero movies.
