Movie review
Dracula runs Hotel Transylvania with his daughter Mavis, her husband Johnny, and their young son Dennis. Mavis thinks her father is worn out and needs a real break, so she books a fancy monster cruise. On the ship, Dracula falls hard for Captain Ericka at first sight and tries to win her over. Ericka is secretly the great-granddaughter of monster hunter Abraham Van Helsing and plans to help wipe out the monsters. The movie mixes slapstick jokes, dance scenes, and family adventure in a bright, silly tone.
The main conflict is about trust and an old family fight that has lasted for generations. Dracula wants a second chance at love after many lonely years. Ericka slowly drops her plan as she grows close to him and sees who he really is. Mavis worries about her dad and about Ericka's secret while the cruise goes on. Failed attacks are played for comedy, and a controlled Kraken strike is part of the scheme. In the end, love and kindness stop Van Helsing's attack, and old enemies make peace. The story stays a light kids comedy about family, rest, tolerance, and not holding grudges forever.
