Peter Rabbit is a bold, mischievous rabbit who treats the McGregor garden as his home and food supply. After old Mr. McGregor dies, his London nephew Thomas arrives to take the farm and remove the animals. Peter fights Thomas with traps, tricks, and stolen vegetables while both rabbits and humans compete for Bea, a kind painter next door. Bright computer animation, fast jokes, and slapstick danger give the film a loud family-adventure tone.
The film gives Bea a large human role as an artist, a friend to the rabbits, and a calm voice between Peter and Thomas. Peter acts as the leader of his rabbit family, but his pride turns a fight over food and land into a personal war. Thomas brings order and ownership while Peter brings freedom and chaos, so both sides cause harm when they put winning first. Peter learns that revenge and glory matter less than forgiveness, friendship, and family.

Creator track record context
Cached context gives Will Gluck, Beatrix Potter, and Rob Lieber low scores and shows no strong activist pattern. Most producers also have low scores. Emma Topping has described herself as a champion of underrepresented voices, and Jodi Hildebrand has supported women’s advancement work in film. This creates only a small creator track record signal.
