Samantha Craft starts her first night as a pizza delivery worker in suburban Dallas. A customer in the rich Mill Basin area refuses to tip her, so she enters the house and finds a Satanist group preparing to call up Baphomet. The group needs a virgin for its ritual, and Sam must escape before the group kills her. The movie mixes bloody horror, crude jokes, and wild 1980s-style effects with a class-based story about poor workers and wealthy neighbors.
The story gives most of its power to women. Sam is the main survivor, Danica is the cult leader, and women control the rich neighborhood while the men take lesser or foolish roles. The film shows Sam being threatened because of her body and virginity, then fighting back against people who want to use her. Its social message attacks wealth, class power, and male entitlement, while its feminist angle stays inside a comic horror story instead of becoming a long political speech.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Satanic Panic.
Woke representation / casting
The film places women in nearly every important power role. Sam leads the story, Danica leads the cult, and women control the rich neighborhood and most of the action. The men are mostly helpers, threats, jokes, or failed leaders. Interviews also present the women-led setup as a deliberate feminist choice, so the pattern is more than a normal mixed cast.
46%
Woke political dialogue
The film includes one brief feminist joke. Samuel uses the word while he tries to force himself on Sam and claims that he is helping her. The joke mocks his excuse, and the film does not repeat the idea in a serious speech.
22%
Identity-driven story themes
The film makes gender power part of the main conflict. Sam is targeted for her virginity, fights off sexual abuse, and becomes the central survivor. Danica and the other women run the cult, while the men are pushed aside, mocked, or used as tools. Interviews describe this women-led world as a feminist choice, and the story keeps returning to female power, bodily control, and male entitlement.
58%
Western institutional / cultural critique
The film repeatedly contrasts Sam’s low-paid delivery job with the rich cult’s protected life. The cult members use a poor woman and her body to keep their wealth and status. The dialogue links rich people with better health care and makes the cult chant that wealth belongs to the strong. The story attacks class inequality and male sexual entitlement, but it does not build a wider attack on Christianity, family life, or Western institutions.
44%
Woke character or canon changes
Not relevant. The film is an original story with no established character or real historical figure whose identity is changed.
0%
Anti-woke backlash and complaints
Not present. The separate X search found no anti-woke reaction or specific complaint. Other reviews and audience posts focused on gore, comedy, class satire, or feminism rather than calling the film woke propaganda.
0%
Creator track record context
The director has a repeated record of supporting women in horror and has spoken about the lack of chances for female directors. The writers have used horror to explore gender pressure, women in danger, and other identity themes. One producer also has a strong record of horror work about race and LGBTQ history. Other producers are mainly commercial genre workers, so the overall creator context is mixed but supports the film’s female and social themes.
