Secret Headquarters follows fourteen-year-old Charlie Kincaid, who feels hurt because his father, Jack, keeps missing family time. During a weekend at Jack's house, Charlie and three friends find a hidden base under the home and learn that Jack is the superhero called The Guard. The group must protect the base and its alien power source when a weapons company owner sends armed helpers to take it. The movie uses bright science fiction gadgets, school jokes, family problems, and light superhero action.
The clearest audience-visible representation choice is the mixed friend group, which includes a black boy, an Asian girl, and two white teens. The two girls are active members of the team, while Maya knows tactics and weapons and Lizzie is skilled with computers. The story makes the group's skills, friendship, and family trust more important than their identities. The main message stays focused on honest talks between parents and children, teamwork, courage, and using each person's skills.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Secret Headquarters.
Woke representation / casting
The teen team uses a visibly mixed lineup with a black boy, an Asian girl, and two white teens. The two girls take active roles in defending the base. Maya handles tactics and weapons, while Lizzie uses computer and math skills. The story treats these traits as team skills, so identity does not become the main subject and the representation signal remains limited.
