Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for The King of Kings.
Woke representation / casting
The movie has a diverse voice cast with actors like Oscar Isaac and Forest Whitaker. But since it is an animated film, the characters are drawn to look historically correct for the ancient Bible setting. The casting is just based on finding famous voice actors. It is not used to meet modern progressive quotas or push representation agendas.
