In Atlanta, a crew of former soldiers and dirty cops works for a ruthless Russian crime boss. They must pull a huge vault job that could pay them well or get them killed. To keep the police busy, they plan a triple nine, which means making it look like a cop is down so every unit rushes to that call. Honest officer Chris Allen becomes the target of that plan, while his partner Marcus helps set him up. The film feels tense and cold, full of double crosses, and it never turns warm or hopeful.
The story stays focused on money, fear, and betrayal from start to finish. People lie and kill because they want to stay alive and keep their deals intact. Family ties and side deals matter more than any lesson about fairness or identity. The plot is about a heist and the violent mess that follows after the plan breaks down. It is not about social causes, modern activist ideas, or teaching viewers a message about diversity.

Not present. All dialogue serves heist planning, betrayal, and survival; zero activist, ideological, or identity-based lines.
0%
Identity-driven story themes
Not present. Pure criminal-enterprise narrative driven by loyalty, revenge, and self-interest; no representation arcs or social-justice messaging.
0%
Western institutional / cultural critique
Not present. Standard genre portrayal of corrupt cops and mafia as individual moral failures and power plays; no modern activist reframing of institutions, toxic masculinity, patriarchy, or cultural norms.
0%
Woke character or canon changes
Not present in this title.
0%
Anti-woke backlash and complaints
Not present. Total absence of claims that the film pushes woke, activist, or left-wing messaging; reception remained apolitical.
0%
Creator track record context
Key creators mostly show low woke or activist history in the stored profiles. Hillcoat’s work is known for harsh crime and drama, not identity campaigns. One producer has a light public focus on more women in film jobs. That is mild context only and does not reshape this movie’s plot.
