Personal context

Summary

Colin Farrell is an Irish actor and producer known for roles spanning independent dramas, dark comedies, and major studio films, including In Bruges, The Lobster, and The Banshees of Inisherin. His work often features flawed or troubled men, strained relationships, and questions of loneliness and belonging. Outside his screen work, he has repeatedly supported LGBTQ rights: he endorsed an anti-homophobic bullying campaign in 2010 and publicly campaigned for marriage equality in Ireland, including through an open letter and referendum statements. He also founded a foundation supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. No public record of party campaigning or DEI roles is established.
