Get Duked! follows four teenage boys from Glasgow who are sent into the Scottish Highlands to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Dean, Duncan, and DJ Beatroot are punished for bad behavior, while Ian joins because he wants a good mark for college. The group soon learns that a wealthy Duke and Duchess are hunting them with guns for sport. The film mixes fast jokes, rude rap, drug trips, strange music scenes, and bloody danger with a story about four friends growing up.
The film sets the boys against older people who believe young people are weak, selfish, and ungrateful. The hunters defend old power, class privilege, and the idea that the young must obey, while the boys answer with anger, teamwork, and open rebellion. The story also mocks police who treat city youths as dangerous terrorists because of racist guesses instead of facts. These ideas return during the chase, the police plot, and the final victory, but the film keeps turning serious points into crude jokes and wild action.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Get Duked!.
Woke representation / casting
Not present. The four lead boys include one South Asian teen, but the film does not frame the casting as a diversity message. The group has no repeated identity-first casting pattern.
0%
Woke political dialogue
The boys repeatedly complain about older people, class power, and adult blame. The Duke speaks about blood purity and respect for elders. The police subplot uses racist guesses about a city gang. A female superintendent mocks that thinking. The movie puts these lines inside jokes and action instead of making them the whole plot.
39%
Identity-driven story themes
The main story turns a youth adventure into a fight between city boys and older rich people. The hunters call lower-class youth a threat and try to restore old social order. The police subplot shows how racist guesses turn ordinary teenagers into an imagined terrorist gang. The film supports the boys' rebellion and presents older authority as selfish and broken. The film keeps this message light and comic.
41%
Western institutional / cultural critique
The film mocks the Duke of Edinburgh program as a way to correct city kids and teach them obedience. The rich hunters treat birth, age, and status as proof that they deserve power. The police chase exposes racist assumptions and careless local authority. The story does not target Christianity, family life, or marriage, so its critique stays focused on class, policing, and older power.
44%
Woke character or canon changes
Not relevant. The film is an original story that uses the real Duke of Edinburgh Award as a setting. It does not change an established fictional character, canon, or historical figure through identity changes.
0%
Anti-woke backlash and complaints
Not present. No identifiable anti-woke complaints, boycott talk, or review-bombing appeared in the reviewed web discussion or the supplied X pass. Public reactions mostly discussed the comedy, class satire, and uneven style.
