Inside Out is a 2015 animated movie about an eleven-year-old girl named Riley who moves from Minnesota to San Francisco. Inside Riley's mind, five emotion characters—Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust—try to help her through this big change. The main conflict starts when Joy and Sadness accidentally get sucked out of the control room and lost in the deep parts of Riley's memory. This leaves Anger, Fear, and Disgust in charge, which makes Riley's behavior turn sour and difficult. The story focuses on Joy and Sadness trying to find their way back home before Riley's personality islands fall apart. It is a sweet and clever family movie that shows how all feelings are important for growing up. The story focuses on a traditional family, where Riley's mother and father offer constant love and support. The movie highlights how sadness helps people connect with others and find comfort. Riley's journey is about growing up, leaving childhood behind, and keeping strong bonds with her parents.
