Nobody 2 is an action movie about a retired assassin named Hutch who takes his family on a water park vacation. Their trip turns violent when they clash with a corrupt local sheriff and a ruthless crime boss. The story stays focused on stylized fights and family survival. The only notable element is that Hutch's wife gets an expanded combat role and saves his life at the end.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Nobody 2.
Woke representation / casting
The cast is mostly white, with returning characters from the first movie, such as RZA as Hutch's brother and Colin Salmon as his handler. John Ortiz plays a corrupt local operator, and Sharon Stone plays the main villain. The diversity is incidental and fits the crime-thriller setting without identity signaling or obvious quotas.
15%
Woke political dialogue
The film contains no political sermons, activist jargon, or social justice dialogue. The script is entirely composed of action-movie banter, family bonding moments, and standard thriller confrontation lines.
0%
Production
Identity-driven story themes
The main plot centers on traditional themes of family bonding, marital reconciliation, and a father trying to protect his family. There are no identity-driven plots, but the narrative does expand the role of Hutch's wife, Becca, allowing her to fight alongside him and save his life, which some viewers felt pushed mild girl-power themes.
17%
Western institutional / cultural critique
The film features a corrupt small-town sheriff and an illegal theme-park operation. This functions as a standard, non-ideological action-thriller plot device rather than a modern activist critique of Western systems, patriarchy, or traditional values.
0%
Woke character or canon changes
Not relevant. All returning characters from the original 2021 film remain consistent with their established traits and roles. There are no race-swaps, gender-swaps, or ideological rewrites of existing canon.

Anti-woke backlash and complaints
A tiny segment of online anti-woke commentators complained that the sequel went woke by expanding the action role of Hutch's wife, Becca, who saves his life at the end, and by casting Sharon Stone as a female criminal mastermind. Some also questioned RZA's combat style. This backlash was limited to minor forum discussions and user reviews, with no major mainstream traction.
18%
Creator track record context
The key creative team has a very low overall woke footprint. Star and producer Bob Odenkirk has a moderate score of 40 due to his progressive political views, and casting director Carmen Kotyk is at 30 for her past focus on diverse casting. The rest of the production team, including action-focused writers Derek Kolstad and Aaron Rabin, and director Timo Tjahjanto, have near-zero scores, keeping the focus strictly on stylized entertainment.
