Radioflash follows Reese, a smart teenager who lives with her father in the Pacific Northwest. A nuclear blast sends an electromagnetic pulse across the western United States, cutting power, water, phones, and the internet. Reese and her father leave the city and try to reach her grandfather, who has prepared a mountain home for disaster. The film begins as a quiet survival story and becomes a tense trip through fear, violence, and broken trust.
Reese starts as a skilled virtual reality player who can solve hard problems, read maps, build a radio link, and stay calm when danger rises. Her skills help her move through a world where strangers fight over food, shelter, and control. She also depends on her father, a farmer, her grandfather, and Quinn, a boy held by a violent family. The story focuses on family, the danger of relying on technology, the loss of public order, and the choices people make when safety disappears.
