Jermaine Fowler is an actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for Superior Donuts, Sorry to Bother You, Coming 2 America, and The Blackening. His comedy and screen work often draw on personal experience and touch on race, class, policing, and masculinity. He has said he felt a responsibility to avoid stereotypes, wanted his role on CBS to help open doors for Black and other minority performers, and welcomed more inclusion in television.
