Movie review
Batman and the surviving Justice League fight to keep the last Earths alive as the Anti-Monitor destroys worlds one after another. The heroes gather in a hidden space outside normal time and search for a way to stop an army of Anti-Monitors. The crisis forces Constantine, Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, and many alternate heroes to face guilt, loss, and hard choices. The tone is dark and emotional, with large battles, deaths, and a hopeful ending.
Several women hold important hero roles, including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, Mera, Batgirl, Huntress, and Vixen. John Stewart is a major black hero, and the film treats these characters as part of the wider DC team. The main message centers on sacrifice, family, teamwork, and the cost of changing time. Its hopeful ending gives the survivors a new start after they accept that the old multiverse cannot continue.

Breakdown
These are the editorial factors and ratings behind our score for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part Three.
Woke representation / casting
Not present. The film uses long-established DC heroes from many worlds, including Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Black Canary, Vixen, and John Stewart. Their roles follow the characters' comic identities, and the film does not present the cast as a diversity message.
0%
Woke political dialogue
Not present. The dialogue centers on cosmic danger, sacrifice, guilt, and hope. A few lines joke about rich people and rationing, but the film does not turn them into a modern activist or party message.
0%
Identity-driven story themes
Not present. The main themes are saving lives, accepting loss, repairing time, and working as a team. The story does not make race, sex, or queer identity a main problem or lesson.
0%
Western institutional / cultural critique
Not present. The heroes fight the Anti-Monitor, tyrants, monsters, and dying worlds. The film does not attack modern Western institutions, family life, religion, or gender roles.
0%
Woke character or canon changes
Not relevant. The film compresses and changes the comic story and ends the Tomorrowverse with a new universe. These are plot choices for a large crossover and series ending, not identity-driven changes.
0%
Anti-woke backlash and complaints
One small X account called the Crisis releases “utter woke nonsense” without naming a DEI or identity issue. The post had almost no engagement, and no other strong anti-woke claim was found. No evidence shows a large campaign, review bombing push, boycott, or repeated complaints about race, gender, male characters, or LGBT themes.
10%
Creator track record context
Public records for Jeff Wamester, Jim Krieg, Butch Lukic, and most of the listed crew show little activist work. Gerry Conway has a higher creator score because of later Black Lives Matter campaigns, but no such message frames this film. The overall creator track record gives only weak supporting context.
